Crowds cram the walking street in Hue City

Crowds gather at the pedestrian street in the roads of Pham Ngu Lao, Chu Van An and Vo Thi Sau in Phu Hoi ward. The street begins operating from 6pm to 2am on Fridays and Saturdays and from 6pm to 12pm on Sundays. Plenty of tourists are also in attendance. This is the second pedestrian friendly street in Hue City after Nguyen Dinh Chieu walking street along the Huong River. Crowds gather at the opening ceremony of the walking street at the crossroads of Chu Van An and Vo Thi Sau roads.

Street vendors're allowed to serve local cuisine to visitors. A local woman takes her 21-month old baby in arms to walk in the street. A young student carries her pet dog on a walk down the street. Young people pose for selfies ot the new pedestrian street. Local residents and visitors gather at a bar in Pham Ngu Lao street to toast the opening of the new street.
